WEEK13-WEEK14

   WEEK13 By week 13, models did the fitting for the upcoming pavilion fashion show. For the outfit of this show, I decided to combine my look 1 and my look2, that is, I used both the pants and the blazer from look two and the top for look one to make up this outfit.   By the 23rd of November, I was also done with my pants for look 3,  My look 3, I decided to do womenswear, and by week 13,, I was done with the pants of my look 3.  the above pictures show the front and back view of the garment.  Process for look3:      WEEK14 By week 14, the presentation was done, as well as my sketchbook, including the pavilion fashion show. 

WEEK9-WEEK12

   WEEK 9  By week 9, I completed with the toile of my first look using calico fabric. Some adjustments needed to be done when it came to the size of the garment. as well as the yoke of the vest was altered for the final look. Overall it went smoothly.  Back View front view WEEK 10  By the following week, I stated to sew my pants for the look1.  For the look 1, I also did my fly front opening along with box pleates. By the end of the week, I completed the pants for look one.  Embroidery and beading done on the yoke of the garment.  the picture above shows how I planned to make my manipulation look like.  whilst working on my pants for look 1, I started the manipulation on my look 1 top. The techniques that I chose to use was applique embroidery, sequins and beading. WEEK5-WEEK8

   WEEK 5  Fabric manipulation and sampling. during this week, I proceeded with the fabric manipulation and sampling where I was still exploring different ways of needlework. One technique that I tried during week 5 was fabric slashing.  In order to include the aspect of needlework, I worked on some beadings onto the manipulation.  WEEK 6  By the end of week 5, we were already told to start with our initial idea development. Since my manipulation did not have any structure or any 3D effects, I started developing my initials based on the silhouettes I wanted to explore for this particular semester.  I was really interested in exploring menswear, So I eventually started to explore those different types of silhouettes.  INITIALS:  DESIGN DEVELOPMENT.  During the development stage, I introduced white into my color palette, the reason for this was to elevate the green color that I wanted to use on my designs.
